South Columbus Stallions (Tabor City, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Red Springs Red Devils (Red Springs, NC), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, South Columbus improves its record to 6-6 on the season. The Stallions host South Brunswick (Southport, NC) to meet the Cougars in a Southeastern 3A/4A/5A challenge on Tuesday, September 16. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 6-4. South Brunswick won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against New Hanover (Wilmington, NC)

The Red Devils now own a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Bladen for a Southeastern 3A/4A/5A test on Tuesday, September 16. Red Springs will face a Knights squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Fairmont (Fairmont, NC). The Knights record now stands at 8-1.
