In Tuesday's league bout, the South Columbus Stallions (Tabor City, NC) volleyball team knocked off the visiting Red Springs Red Devils (Red Springs, NC), by a margin of 3-0.
The Stallions now possess a 10-9 record. They play next when they travel to South Brunswick for a Southeastern 3A/4A/5A bout on Thursday, October 2. South Columbus will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 3-0 league win over Whiteville (Whiteville, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 12-4.
Next, the Red Devils battle the West Bladen Knights (Bladenboro, NC) in a Southeastern 3A/4A/5A contest, on Thursday, October 2. Red Springs will attempt to move on its 3-13 season record. The Knights enter the contest with a 12-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Fairmont (Fairmont, NC).
