In Monday's non-league battle, the visiting Lancaster Bruins volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Chester Cyclones.
The Bruins (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Catawba Ridge (Fort Mill, SC). The Copperheads come into the AAAA Region 3 battle with a 8-5 record. In their last battle, Catawba Ridge defeated York (York, SC), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Cyclones encounter the Union County Yellowjackets (Union, SC) in a AAA Region 4 battle, on Tuesday, September 13. Chester will attempt to move on its 4-6 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the battle with a 2-7 record after their 1-1 non-league Riverside (Greer, SC).
