The Spotswood Trailblazers volleyball team (Penn Laird, VA), went down 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the visiting Broadway Gobblers (Broadway, VA)

The Gobblers (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA). The Knights enter the non-league challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Turner Ashby went down by William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA), 2-0, in a non-league bout.

The Trailblazers now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to East Rockingham for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 14. Spotswood will play a Eagles squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-0.
