The James River Knights topped the host Carroll County Cavaliers volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Knights now have a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lord Botetourt for a non-league test on Thursday, September 14. James River will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Cave Spring (Roanoke, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 4-1.
The Cavaliers (0-3) will now prepare for their test against Floyd County (Floyd, VA). The Buffaloes enter the non-league test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Floyd County was knocked off by Patrick County (Stuart, VA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
