Georgia High School Softball - Edmund Burke Academy bounces David Emanuel Academy

The Edmund Burke Academy Spartans (Waynesboro, GA) softball routed the visiting David Emanuel Academy Eagles (Stillmore, GA), 12-0 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Spartans (2-7) will now prepare for their bout against Brentwood (Sandersville, GA). The War Eagles go into the GIAA 2AA bout with a 9-2 record. In their last bout, Brentwood toppled Gatewood (Eatonton, GA), 9-0, in a league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Robert Toombs Christian Academy for a GIAA 2A bout on Thursday, September 14. David Emanuel Academy will confront a Crusaders squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Edmund Burke Academy (Waynesboro, GA). The Crusaders record now stands at 6-4.
