The Sequoyah Chiefs volleyball team (Madisonville, TN), went down 3-1 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Alcoa Tornadoes (Alcoa, TN)

The Tornadoes (4-6) will now prepare for their challenge against South-Doyle (Knoxville, TN). The Cherokees enter the AA District 2 challenge with a 1-9 record. In their last challenge, South-Doyle went down by Maryville Christian (Maryville, TN), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Chiefs encounter the Loudon Redskins (Loudon, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 14. Sequoyah will attempt to move on its 9-8 season record. The Redskins enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 3-0 league loss to Anderson County (Clinton, TN).
