The Sequoyah Chiefs volleyball team (Madisonville, TN), went down 3-1 in Tuesday's league challenge with the visiting Alcoa Tornadoes (Alcoa, TN)

The Tornadoes (7-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Sevier County (Sevierville, TN). The Smoky Bears come into the non-league challenge with a 12-10 record. In their last challenge, Sevier County defeated Cherokee (Rogersville, TN), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Chiefs encounter the McMinn Central Chargers (Englewood, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 28. Sequoyah will attempt to move on its 15-9 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 14-6 record after their 3-1 league win over Chattanooga Central (Harrison, TN).
