The Brooks County Trojans volleyball team (Quitman, GA), went down 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the host Sumter County Panthers (Americus, GA)

The Panthers (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Kendrick (Columbus, GA). The Cherokees enter the 2A Area 2 challenge with a 6-6 record. In their last challenge, Kendrick defeated Jordan (Columbus, GA), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Trojans encounter the Early County Bobcats (Blakely, GA) in a 1A Area 1 challenge, on Thursday, September 14. Brooks County will attempt to move on its 6-11 season record. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 2-0 league win over Stewart County (Lumpkin, GA).
