In Tuesday's league contest, the Buckingham Knights (Buckingham, VA) volleyball squad were winner over the host Randolph-Henry Statesmen (Charlotte Court House, VA), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Knights battle the Altavista Colonels (Altavista, VA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 18. Buckingham will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record. The Colonels go into the contest with a 3-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Appomattox County (Appomattox, VA).

With the loss, Randolph-Henry moves to 1-4 on the year. The Statesmen travel to Lunenburg Central (Victoria, VA) to battle the Chargers in a James River contest on Thursday, September 14. The Chargers go into the contest with a record of 5-0. Lunenburg Central won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Prince Edward County (Farmville, VA)
