The Franklin County Lions volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Stephens County Indians to 0 in the Lions league victory on Tuesday.

The Lions now have a 11-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hart County for a 3A Area 8 game on Tuesday, September 12. Franklin County will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over North Oconee (Bogart, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 17-1.

The Indians (11-10) will now prepare for their game against Oconee County (Watkinsville, GA). The Warriors enter the 3A Area 8 game with a 19-9 record. In their last game, Oconee County dropped by Marist (Atlanta, GA), 2-1, in a non-league game.
