The Jones Trojans volleyball team (Trenton, NC), went down 3-1 in Tuesday's league challenge with the visiting Lejeune Devil Pups (Camp Lejeune, NC)

The Devil Pups (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Pamlico County (Bayboro, NC). The Hurricanes come into the Coastal Plains 1A/2A challenge with a 9-2 record. In their last challenge, Pamlico County went down by West Carteret (Morehead City, NC), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Trojans encounter the East Carteret Mariners (Beaufort, NC) in a Coastal Plains 1A/2A challenge, on Thursday, September 14. Jones will attempt to move on its 2-7 season record. The Mariners come into the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Northside - Pinetown (Pinetown, NC).
