Nebraska High School Softball - Lexington knocked off by McCook

The McCook Bison overwhelmed the host Lexington Minutemen softball squad by a count of 18-6 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Bison meet the Highway 6 Trailblazers (Holdrege, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 16. McCook will attempt to upgrade on its 14-3 season record. The Trailblazers go into the challenge with a 8-9 record after their 14-1 non-league loss to Beatrice (Beatrice, NE).

The Minutemen (1-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Cozad (Cozad, NE). The Haymakers go into the non-league challenge with a 4-9 record. In their last challenge, Cozad was routed by Southern Valley/Alma (Oxford, NE), 9-7, in a non-league challenge.
