In Thursday's league test, the Morgan County Bulldogs (Madison, GA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Pike County Pirates (Zebulon, GA), by a tally of 8-0.

Next, the Bulldogs clash with the Mary Persons Bulldogs (Forsyth, GA) in a non-league test, on Monday, September 16. Morgan County will attempt to advance on its 10-3 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 10-5 record after their 4-1 league win over Troup County (LaGrange, GA).

The Pirates (15-4) will now prepare for their test against Trinity Christian (Sharpsburg, GA). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 10-7 record. In their last test, Trinity Christian prevailed over Spalding (Griffin, GA), 14-4, in a league test.
