Next up, the Chargers battle the Mecklenburg County Phoenix (Baskerville, VA) in a non-league match, on Monday, September 16. Lunenburg Central will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Phoenix enter the match with a 4-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Halifax County (South Boston, VA).

The Knights (0-5) will now prepare for their match against Randolph-Henry (Charlotte Court House, VA). The Statesmen enter the James River match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Randolph-Henry notched a victory over Cumberland (Cumberland, VA), 3-0, in a league match.
