    • Texas High School Football - Lorena defeated by Franklin

    The Franklin Lions were victorious over the host Lorena Leopards football team by a score of 63-49 in Friday's non-league challenge.

    In their next game, the Lions face the Celina Bobcats (Celina, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 19. Franklin will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 43-19 non-league win over Gunter (Gunter, TX).

    The Leopards (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against C.H. Yoe (Cameron, TX). The Yoemen come into the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, C.H. Yoe topped Maypearl (Maypearl, TX), 27-26, in a non-league test.
