Texas High School Volleyball - Franklin tips Montwood

In Friday's league challenge, the visiting Franklin Cougars volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Montwood Rams.

The Cougars (19-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Eastwood (El Paso, TX). The Troopers come into the 6A Region I District 1 test with a 24-6 record. In their last test, Eastwood was edged by Eastlake (El Paso, TX), 3-0, in a league test.

The Rams now sport a 19-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pebble Hills for a 6A Region I District 1 test on Tuesday, September 16. Montwood will face a Spartans squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Coronado (El Paso, TX). The Spartans record now stands at 7-14.
