Fans at Friday's league contest between the Lexington Eagles (Lexington, TX) and the host Thrall Tigers (Thrall, TX), observed Lexington's volleyball team hold off Thrall by a tally of 3-2.

The Eagles (18-9) will now prepare for their contest against Rogers (Rogers, TX). The Eagles go into the 3A Region III District 19 test with a 9-8 record. In their last test, Rogers tipped Killeen (Killeen, TX), 3-2, in a non-league test.

The Tigers now own a 13-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rockdale for a 3A Region III District 19 challenge on Tuesday, September 16.
