Soldotna Stars (Soldotna, AK) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Palmer Moose (Palmer, AK), 3-2 in a league test.

With the win, Soldotna improves its record to 11-3 on the season. The Stars travel to Palmer (Palmer, AK) to meet the Moose in a 4A Northern Lights challenge on Saturday, September 13. The Moose come into the challenge with a record of 11-8. Palmer won 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Kenai Central (Kenai, AK)

Next, the Moose meet the Soldotna Stars (Soldotna, AK) in a 4A Northern Lights challenge, on Saturday, September 13. Palmer will attempt to upgrade on its 11-9 season record. The Stars come into the challenge with a 10-3 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Homer (Homer, AK).
