Next up, the Spartans clash with the Glenvar Highlanders (Salem, VA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 15. Giles will attempt to advance on its 9-0 season record. The Highlanders enter the test with a 0-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Blacksburg (Blacksburg, VA).

The Pioneers (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Auburn (Riner, VA). The Eagles enter the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Auburn was nudged by Grayson County (Independence, VA), 2-1, in a non-league test.
