Marion County Eagles (Buena Vista, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Manchester Blue Devils (Manchester, GA), 8-0 in a league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 11-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Columbus for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 17. Marion County will face a Blue Devils squad coming off a 10-4 non-league loss to Harris County (Hamilton, GA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 12-4.

With the loss, Manchester falls to 5-6 on the campaign. The Blue devils host Taylor County (Butler, GA) to face the Vikings in a 1A D-II Region 6 challenge on Wednesday, September 14. The Vikings enter the challenge with a record of 10-4. Taylor County lost 9-2 in their recent league challenge against Schley County (Ellaville, GA)
