In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Gretna Hawks volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the William Campbell Generals.

The Hawks (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Altavista (Altavista, VA). The Colonels come into the Dogwood battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Altavista lost by Appomattox County (Appomattox, VA), 3-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Generals clash with the Randolph-Henry Statesmen (Charlotte Court House, VA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, September 19. William Campbell will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The Statesmen come into the battle with a 1-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to Buckingham (Buckingham, VA).
