The North Branford Thunderbirds (North Branford, CT) volleyball overcame the host Portland Highlanders (Portland, CT), 3-0 in Wednesday's league outing.

With the win, North Branford upgrades its record to 2-1 on the year. The Thunderbirds travel to Cromwell (Cromwell, CT) to face the Panthers in a Shoreline outing on Thursday, September 14. The Panthers go into the outing with a record of 1-3. Cromwell lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Old Lyme (Old Lyme, CT)

The Highlanders now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Valley Regional for a Shoreline outing on Thursday, September 14. Portland will face a Warriors squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Morgan (Clinton, CT). The Warriors record now stands at 1-2.
