The New Canaan Rams football squad scored 42 points and limited the host Maloney Spartans to 13 in the Rams non-league triumph on Friday.
The Rams now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Warde for a Fairfield County - East test on Friday, September 20. New Canaan will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 20-6 non-league win over Harding (Bridgeport, CT). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, Maloney drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Glastonbury (Glastonbury, CT) to clash with the Guardians in a Central Connecticut - Tier 1 test on Thursday, September 19. The Guardians come into the test with a record of 1-0. Glastonbury won 41-27 in their recent league test against Platt (Meriden, CT)
