The St. James Sharks topped the host North Myrtle Beach Chiefs volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Sharks confront the Fort Dorchester Patriots (North Charleston, SC) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 13. St. James will attempt to advance on its 6-4 season record. The Patriots go into the game with a 7-3 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Oceanside Collegiate Academy (Mt. Pleasant, SC).

The Chiefs (5-4) will now prepare for their game against Carolina Forest (Myrtle Beach, SC). The Panthers go into the AAAA Region 6 game with a 9-3 record. In their last game, Carolina Forest gained a win over St. James (Murrells Inlet, SC), 3-0, in a league game.
