The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, NE) and the visiting Hershey Panthers (Hershey, NE), observed Lexington's softball team get by Hershey by a tally of 7-0.

The Minutemen (1-12) will now prepare for their bout against O'Neill (O'Neill, NE). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, O'Neill was routed by Centura (Cairo, NE), 8-1, in a non-league contest.

The Panthers now hold a 3-12 record. They play next when they travel to Holyoke for a non-league contest on Monday, September 15. Hershey will face a Dragons squad coming off a 13-1 league loss to Burlington (Burlington, CO). The Dragons record now stands at 1-12.
