With the triumph, Wetumka improves its record to 13-6 on the year. The Chieftains host Porter (Porter, OK) to play the Pirates in a Class A game on Monday, September 15. The Pirates enter the game with a record of 4-15.

The Outlaws now hold a 12-9 record. They play next when they travel to Varnum for a non-league game on Monday, September 15. Weleetka will confront a Whippets team coming off a 14-6 non-league win over Bowlegs (Bowlegs, OK). The Whippets record now stands at 13-9.
