The Franklin-Simpson Wildcats volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Barren County Trojans to 1 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Wildcats now have a 4-15 record. They play next when they travel to Glasgow for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 13. Franklin-Simpson will play a Scotties team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Caverna (Horse Cave, KY). The Scotties record now stands at 6-10.

With the loss, Barren County moves to 13-6 on the season. The Trojans host Caverna (Horse Cave, KY) to confront the Colonels in a non-league game on Monday, September 15. The Colonels go into the game with a record of 0-16. Caverna lost 2-1 in their recent non-league game against Warren Central (Bowling Green, KY)
