The Trojans (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Edmonson County (Brownsville, KY). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, Edmonson County was tipped by Warren East (Bowling Green, KY), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Warren Central Dragons (Bowling Green, KY) in a non-league test, on Monday, September 8. Franklin-Simpson will attempt to improve on its 0-12 season record. The Dragons go into the test with a 1-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to Greenwood (Bowling Green, KY).
