The Firebirds (5-8) will now prepare for their battle against Santa Clara (Santa Clara, CA). The Bruins go into the Santa Clara Valley - El Camino battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Santa Clara achieved victory over MacDonald (San Jose, CA), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Bobcats now own a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Piedmont Hills for a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 17. Basis Independent Silicon Valley will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Ann Sobrato (Morgan Hill, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 3-6.
