Indiana High School Volleyball - La Porte edged by Valparaiso

The La Porte Slicers volleyball team (La Porte, IN), was tipped 2-1 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting Valparaiso Vikings (Valparaiso, IN)

The Vikings (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Northridge (Middlebury, IN). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 11-4 record. In their last contest, Northridge got by Westview (Topeka, IN), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Slicers meet the Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran Cadets (Fort Wayne, IN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 13. La Porte will attempt to improve on its 10-9 season record. The Cadets go into the test with a 7-6 record after their 3-0 non-league win over DeKalb (Waterloo, IN).
