The Prairie City Panthers (Prairie City, OR) volleyball knocked off the visiting Pine Eagle Spartans (Halfway, OR), 3-0 in Saturday's non-league contest.
The Panthers (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Grant Union (John Day, OR). The Prospectors enter the non-league contest with a 6-7 record. In their last contest, Grant Union was knocked off by Joseph (Joseph, OR), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Spartans battle the Union Bobcats (Union, OR) in a 1A Old Oregon contest, on Thursday, September 18. Pine Eagle will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Bobcats enter the contest with a 5-7 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Stanfield (Stanfield, OR).
