The Alleghany Cougars topped the visiting Patrick County Cougars volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Cougars now have a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rockbridge County for a non-league test on Monday, September 18. Alleghany will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-6.

The Cougars (7-4) will now prepare for their test against James River (Buchanan, VA). The Knights enter the non-league test with a 4-3 record.
