The Mount Pleasant Tigers topped the host North Stanly Comets volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Tigers now have a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Union Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 19. Mount Pleasant will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to South Stanly (Norwood, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-6.

The Comets (4-7) will now prepare for their test against A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC). The Wonders enter the non-league test with a 5-6 record. In their last test, A.L. Brown was knocked off by Mooresville (Mooresville, NC), 2-1, in a non-league test.
