In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Union Academy Cardinals.
The Rowdy Rebel Bulls (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against Salisbury (Salisbury, NC). The Hornets come into the non-league battle with a 2-7 record. In their last battle, Salisbury was edged by A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Cardinals encounter the Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 19. Union Academy will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record. The Tigers come into the battle with a 8-4 record after their 2-0 non-league win over North Stanly (New London, NC).
