Fremont Tigers (Fremont, NE) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Lincoln Southeast Knights (Lincoln, NE), 13-5 in a league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 11-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Columbus for a A District challenge on Monday, September 18. Fremont will battle a Discoverers squad coming off a 15-8 league win over Kearney (Kearney, NE). The Discoverers record now stands at 9-8.

With the loss, Lincoln Southeast falls to 3-13 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Papillion-LaVista (Papillion, NE) to battle the Monarchs in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 15. The Monarchs enter the challenge with a record of 14-5. Papillion-LaVista won 3-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Staley (Kansas City, MO)
