The Valley Union Blue Devils volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind Sentinels to 0 in the Blue Devils non-league victory on Thursday.
The Blue Devils now possess a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Duncan for a 1A - Tucson Southeast game on Monday, September 18. Valley Union will meet a Wildkats team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Desert Christian (Tucson, AZ). The Wildkats record now stands at 6-1.
The Sentinels (0-6) will now prepare for their game against The Gregory School (Tucson, AZ). The Hawks enter the 1A - Tucson Northwest game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, The Gregory School defeated Desert Christian (Tucson, AZ), 3-0, in a league game.
