The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Robertson County Black Devils (Mt. Olivet, KY) and the host Augusta Panthers (Augusta, KY), saw Robertson County's volleyball squad beat Augusta by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Robertson County upgrades its record to 8-6 on the year. The Black Devils travel to Magoffin County (Salyersville, KY) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 16. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 2-10. Magoffin County won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Jackson City (Jackson, KY)

The Panthers now own a 2-16 record. They play next when they host Bracken County for a District 39 bout on Tuesday, September 19. Augusta will play a Polar Bears squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Paris (Paris, KY). The Polar Bears record now stands at 8-13.
