In Thursday's league battle, the host Fremont Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Hamilton Marines.
The Eagles (11-6) will now prepare for their battle against Angola (Angola, IN). The Hornets come into the Northeast Corner battle with a 15-0 record. In their last battle, Angola defeated Homestead (Fort Wayne, IN), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Marines encounter the Churubusco Eagles (Churubusco, IN) in a Northeast Corner battle, on Tuesday, September 19. Hamilton will attempt to move on its 0-7 season record. The Eagles come into the battle with a 18-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Tippecanoe Valley (Akron, IN).
