In Thursday's league battle, the host Vaughn White Tigers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences Vipers.

The White Tigers (7-1) will now prepare for their battle against Northridge Academy (Northridge, CA). The Pumas come into the Valley battle with a 3-5 record.

Next, the Vipers encounter the Sherman Oaks CES Knights (Reseda, CA) in a Valley battle, on Monday, September 18. Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences will attempt to move on its 0-8 season record. The Knights come into the battle with a 6-4 record after their 3-2 league loss to Fulton (Van Nuys, CA).
