The Altavista Colonels volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Gretna Hawks to 1 in the Colonels league victory on Thursday.
The Colonels now have a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host William Campbell for a Dogwood game on Tuesday, September 20.
The Hawks (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Chatham (Chatham, VA). The Cavaliers enter the Dogwood game with a 1-9 record. In their last game, Chatham dropped by Tunstall (Dry Fork, VA), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
