Alaska High School Volleyball - Bettye Davis East Anchorage can't hold off Thunder Mountain

In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Thunder Mountain Falcons volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Bettye Davis East Anchorage Thunderbirds.

The Falcons (6-1) will now prepare for their battle against Barrow (Utqiagvik, AK). The Whalers come into the non-league battle with a 2-6 record. In their last battle, Barrow was edged by Valdez (Valdez, AK), 1-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Thunderbirds clash with the Nikiski Bulldogs (Nikiski, AK) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 16. Bettye Davis East Anchorage will attempt to advance on its 4-15 season record. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 2-11 record after their 3-2 league loss to Homer (Homer, AK).
