With the win, New Hampstead upgrades its record to 16-5 on the year. The Phoenix host Islands (Savannah, GA) to play the Sharks in a 4A Area 3 bout on Thursday, September 15. The Sharks go into the bout with a record of 14-2. Islands won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Glynn Academy (Brunswick, GA)

The Bears now own a 15-8 record. They play next when they host Southeast Bulloch for a 4A Area 3 bout on Thursday, September 15. Burke County will play a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Long County (Ludowici, GA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 11-4.
