North Carolina High School Volleyball - Union Grove Christian over Matthews Christian Academy

Union Grove Christian Patriots (Lexington, NC) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Matthews Christian Academy Colts (Matthews, NC), 3-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Patriots clash with the Tabernacle Christian Ram (Monroe, NC) in a NCCSA A District 2 match, on Friday, September 16. Union Grove Christian will attempt to advance on its 10-2 season record. The Ram come into the match with a 3-5 record after their 3-1 league loss to Matthews Christian Academy (Matthews, NC).

With the loss, Matthews Christian Academy drops to 5-3 on the campaign. The Colts host Cramerton Christian Academy (Cramerton, NC) to clash with the Crusaders in a non-league match on Friday, September 16. The Crusaders come into the match with a record of 1-8. Cramerton Christian Academy lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Vandalia Christian (Greensboro, NC)
