North Carolina High School Volleyball - Surry Central over North Surry

September 15, 2022: Dobson, NC 27017

The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Surry Central Golden Eagles (Dobson, NC) and the visiting North Surry Greyhounds (Mount Airy, NC), saw Surry Central's volleyball squad beat North Surry by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Surry Central upgrades its record to 4-6 on the year. The Golden Eagles host East Surry (Pilot Mountain, NC) to play the Cardinals in a Foothills 2A bout on Tuesday, September 20. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 9-3.

The Greyhounds now own a 5-7 record. They play next when they host West Stokes for a non-league bout on Monday, September 19. North Surry will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Walkertown (Walkertown, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-3.
