In Friday's league game, the Williamstown Yellowjackets (Williamstown, WV) football team smashed the host Ritchie County Rebels (Ellenboro, WV), by a final score of 67-8.

The Yellowjackets (4-0) will now prepare for their game against Marietta (Marietta, OH). The Tigers come into the non-league game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, Marietta overwhelmed Ripley (Ripley, WV), 43-3, in a non-league game.

The Rebels now hold a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Doddridge County for a Little Kanawha game on Friday, September 22. Ritchie County will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 40-0 league win over Ravenswood (Ravenswood, WV). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-2.
