Parkway South Patriots (Manchester, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Poplar Bluff Mules (Poplar Bluff, MO), 12-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Patriots now own a 13-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hillsboro for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 16. Parkway South will battle a Hawks squad coming off a 20-0 non-league win over Central (Cape Girardeau, MO). The Hawks record now stands at 16-1.

With the loss, Poplar Bluff falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Mules host Naylor (Naylor, MO) to battle the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 16. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 0-8. Naylor lost 19-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Jackson (Jackson, MO)
