The Parkway South Patriots softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Poplar Bluff Mules to 2 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Parkway South improves its record to 13-2 on the year. The Patriots travel to Hillsboro (Hillsboro, MO) to clash with the Hawks in a non-league game on Saturday, September 16. The Hawks come into the game with a record of 16-1. Hillsboro won 20-0 in their recent non-league game against Central (Cape Girardeau, MO)

In their next game, the Mules clash with the Naylor Eagles (Naylor, MO) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 16. Poplar Bluff will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 0-8 record after their 19-1 non-league loss to Jackson (Jackson, MO).
