With the win, Surry Central improves its record to 6-4 on the season. The Golden Eagles travel to West Stokes (King, NC) to face the Wildcats in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 16. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 4-1. West Stokes lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against East Surry (Pilot Mountain, NC)

The Cardinals now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wilkes Central for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 16. East Wilkes will face a Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Freedom (Morganton, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 5-9.
