Georgia High School Softball - Armuchee bounces Mt. Zion

In Monday's non-league match, the host Armuchee Indians softball team scored a nice 11-2 win over the Mt. Zion Eagles.
The Indians (9-7) will now prepare for their match against Gordon Lee (Chickamauga, GA). The Trojans come into the 1A D-I Region 7 match with a 16-4 record. In their last match, Gordon Lee defeated North Murray (Chatsworth, GA), 8-0, in a non-league game.
The Eagles now own a 8-9 record. They play next when they travel to Manchester for a 1A D-II Region 7 game on Tuesday, September 16. Mt. Zion will play a Blue Devils squad coming off a 15-2 league loss to Bowdon (Bowdon, GA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 2-13.
